Google Review Management and Reputation: Rating, Replies and Trust

puan | adet | yanıt oranı
✓ Review flow and response policy in place

Review management is the work of making the reviews on your business profile regular, genuine and trust-building. A flow that makes it easy for real customers to leave a review, a reply to every review in a tone you approve, reporting and removal of rule-breaking reviews, a crisis flow for negative reviews and a monthly reputation report are all in scope. No fake reviews are bought; the rating rises through real experience.

// Who is review management for?

Review management is for businesses with a rating below 4.0, no new reviews for months, or a single negative review that is visibly driving customers away. In the map pack a customer looks first at the rating and the latest reviews; a business with 47 reviews at 4.6 gets more calls than one with 8 reviews at 4.9, and an unanswered negative review beats both. If any of the following sounds familiar, you are on the right page.

  • Your last review is more than 6 months old and the profile looks abandoned
  • Your rating is below 4.0 or clearly behind competitors
  • Negative reviews are unanswered or answered in an angry tone
  • You suspect fake reviews from a competitor or a former employee

We apply the same flow to a single-location business and a multi-branch chain; only the number of profiles and the monthly review target change.

// What is included and what is not

The service runs as a monthly management plan; a one-off review analysis and crisis intervention are also available. The table below lists what each includes and what stays outside, line by line. Buying fake reviews, gifts in exchange for reviews and filters that block negative reviews, all against Google's rules, are used in no plan; that rule is written in the quote.

Profile setup is described under Google Business Profile optimization and the effect of reviews on map rankings under Google Business Profile SEO.

// How does it work and how long does it take?

The review analysis takes 2 to 3 business days; monthly management then runs as a cycle. Once the review flow is in place the first new reviews arrive within 1 to 2 weeks; a noticeable rise in the rating depends on review count and typically takes 2 to 4 months. Removal of rule-breaking reviews depends on Google's review and takes 1 to 3 weeks.

01

Review analysis (2 to 3 days)

Every review is read; rating distribution, recurring complaint and praise themes, unanswered and rule-breaking reviews are listed

02

Tone guide and approval (1 day)

Reply tone, signature and phrases to avoid are agreed with you; an approval flow for negative reviews is set up

03

Cleanup and replies (1 week)

Rule-breaking reviews are reported to Google and unanswered reviews replied to per the guide

04

Review acquisition flow (1 week)

QR code, short link, SMS and email templates are prepared; your team is shown when and how to ask

05

Monthly cycle (continuous)

New reviews are answered within 24 hours, the crisis flow runs on negative ones, and the reputation report is delivered monthly

// How is the price determined?

Three variables set the price: number of profiles, monthly review volume and the share of negative reviews. A single-location business with 5 reviews a month and a 6-branch chain with 80 reviews and frequent crises do not carry the same workload, so we quote from the review analysis rather than a fixed list. The analysis is free and the quote is fixed once it is done; the per-profile price falls in steps.

Monthly management has no contract. For customers on the Zep Bilisim profile management plan, review replies are included; the review acquisition flow and crisis management are shown separately.

// Results we have delivered

The three cases below represent different reputation situations. We do not share client names without permission, so sector and scale are given instead; figures come from profile statistics and monthly reputation reports, measured after 4 months. No fake review was used in any of the three; the results came from real customer experience and were tracked in the Zep Bilisim report.

  • Dental clinic — No reviews for 6 months; a QR and SMS flow brought an average of 11 new reviews a month, the rating rose from 4.1 to 4.7 and profile searches rose 58%
  • Restaurant chain, 12 branches — 340 unanswered reviews were replied to per the guide and 19 rule-breaking reviews removed; the average rating rose from 3.9 to 4.5
  • Car repair — 7 fake reviews from a competitor were reported with evidence and removed; an approved reply flow for negative reviews was set up and the rating rose from 3.6 to 4.3
Customers look not for a perfect rating but for honest reviews and respectful replies. One unanswered negative review speaks louder than ten positive ones.

// The team behind the work

The work is carried out by Caner Zep Çelik, founder of Zep Bilisim. As founder and technical consultant he has worked on business profile management, local visibility and brand reputation since 2020 and has been involved in more than 100 projects. He runs the review analysis, the tone guide and the rule-breaking review reports himself and does not outsource the work.

The monthly report is written by the same person: change in rating and review count, recurring themes, response time, removed reviews and the operational issues your business should fix. The report stays with you as the record of customer experience.

// When is it not needed?

If your rating is above 4.5, reviews arrive regularly every month and all of them are answered, monthly management is unnecessary; we say so plainly in the analysis and recommend only one-off support in a crisis. If negative reviews describe a real, recurring service problem, writing replies is not enough; the operation has to be fixed first, and we say so plainly in the report.

If reviews contain defamation or abuse, legal proceedings are needed; we file the Google report and leave the legal side to your lawyer.

Google's prohibited and restricted content policy explains from the official source which reviews can be removed and which ways of asking for reviews are banned; our reporting and acquisition rules are built on it.

// Frequently Asked Questions

No, never. Fake reviews break Google's rules, are detected and get the profile suspended; they are also a consumer-law risk. What we do is set up a flow that makes it easy to ask real customers for a review at the right moment, and answer the reviews that arrive in a tone you approve. That rule is written in the quote.

Only if it breaks Google's rules: fake, off-topic, abusive, from a competitor or former employee, or a conflict of interest. Such reviews are reported with evidence and usually removed within 1 to 3 weeks. A real customer's real experience cannot be removed; it gets a respectful, solution-focused reply, and where possible the problem is fixed and the customer asked to update the review.

At the start a tone guide is prepared with you: tone, signature, phrases to avoid and when to call by phone. Positive and neutral reviews are answered directly per the guide; for negative and sensitive reviews a draft is prepared and published after your approval. If approval takes more than 24 hours a holding reply is posted; nothing is left blank.

Not if it is done at the right moment and in the right way; a satisfied customer often does not write because they do not know how. The flow offers a QR code or short link that takes them to the review page in one tap after the service is done, with no gift or discount promised. Your team is shown which sentence to use, and the response rate is tracked in the report.

The first new reviews arrive 1 to 2 weeks after the flow is set up. A noticeable rise in the rating depends on the existing review count: a profile with 20 reviews moves within 2 months, one with 200 within 4 to 6 months. Response time and removed rule-breaking reviews show in the first month's report.

The standard plan covers the Google profile. Yandex, Tripadvisor, sector platforms and social media reviews are priced separately and managed with the same tone guide. The analysis shows with data which platform matters for your customers; for most businesses Google alone is enough and we add no unnecessary platform. The decision is yours.
