SEO Audit and Analytics Report: Technical, Content and Authority

teknik | içerik | otorite | dönüşüm
✓ Prioritized findings list produced

An SEO audit is a starting report that examines every layer affecting your site's search visibility in one pass and delivers a prioritized action list. Technical crawl, index status, content-to-keyword matching, link profile and competitor comparison are all in scope. The report shows in numbers which job comes first and what it will bring, so you have a roadmap without having to buy a service.

// Who is an SEO audit for?

An SEO audit is for businesses that do not know why their site is not ranking, or that have worked with an agency without results. Until you know whether the problem is technical, content or authority, every effort is a guess; the audit makes the diagnosis first and shows where the budget should go. If any of the following sounds familiar, you are on the right page.

  • Organic traffic has fallen over the last 6 months and you do not know why
  • You have worked with an agency for a year; there are reports but no rankings
  • A new site has launched and it is unclear where SEO should start
  • Competitors sell the same service but beat you in every search

We apply the same audit method to a corporate site and a 20,000-product store; only the crawl time and the number of findings change.

// What is included and what is not

The audit is a one-off piece of work; implementing the fixes is a separate service, and the report says which one is needed. The table below lists what a standard audit includes and what stays outside, line by line. You can implement the report with another agency or your own team, which is why every finding is written to be actionable and stays with you.

// How does it work and how long does it take?

The audit takes 5 to 7 business days for a typical corporate site; on large stores the crawl alone can take 2 days. The report is delivered together with a presentation meeting, and every finding carries an effect, time and priority. After the audit you decide which service, if any, to buy; the report can serve as a roadmap for 12 months.

01

Access and crawl (1 to 2 days)

Search Console and analytics access is obtained and the site is crawled end to end

02

Technical analysis (1 to 2 days)

Index, speed, redirect, duplicate content and schema findings are extracted

03

Content and authority analysis (2 days)

Page-to-query matching, weak pages, link profile and competitor gap are measured

04

Report and presentation (1 day)

Findings are ranked, the action list written and presented in a meeting

// How is the price determined?

Three variables set the price: number of pages, the site's platform and the depth of the competitor comparison. A 30-page brochure site and a 20,000-product store do not take the same crawl and analysis time, so we quote after a preliminary crawl rather than from a fixed list. The preliminary crawl is free and the quote is fixed once it is done; the audit fee is deducted from later services.

The report is yours; there is no extra charge if you implement it with another team. For customers who move to the Zep Bilisim SEO plan, the audit fee is deducted from the first month, and that rule is written in the quote.

// Results we have delivered

The three cases below show what an audit uncovers. We do not share client names without permission, so sector and scale are given instead; figures come from audit reports and subsequent Search Console data. In all three the previous assumption was wrong and the budget was going to the wrong place; the audit changed direction.

  • Furniture store — The agency had been buying links for 8 months; the audit revealed 140,000 duplicate filter pages, and technical fixes raised organic clicks 41%
  • Law firm — Content was being written, but 14 service pages competed for the same 3 queries; merging put 9 pages on page one
  • Software company — Technical and content were sound, but only 11 domains linked to the site; authority work took the target query to position 3 in 6 months
The most expensive mistake in SEO is doing the wrong job well. The audit says which job is right before the budget is spent.

// The team behind the work

The audit is carried out by Caner Zep Çelik, founder of Zep Bilisim. As founder and technical consultant he has worked on search visibility, server configuration and content structure since 2020 and has been involved in more than 100 projects. He does the crawl, the Search Console analysis and the competitor comparison himself and does not outsource the work.

The report is written and presented by the same person: for every finding, what, where, why it matters, how to fix it and what it brings. Your questions are answered in the meeting and the report stays with you.

// When is it not needed?

If the site is only a few months old and Search Console data has not accumulated, a full audit is premature; we say so in the preliminary crawl and suggest looking again in 3 months. If the problem is clearly in one layer, such as 404s after a migration, direct technical work is cheaper than a full audit, and we say so in the preliminary crawl.

If you recently had a comprehensive audit from another agency, we read that first rather than selling a repeat.

Google's Search Console documentation explains from the official source what the index and performance reports used in the audit mean.

// Frequently Asked Questions

The report has two layers: a 2-page summary and priority list for managers, and finding-by-finding detail for implementers. Every finding is explained in non-technical language with its effect in numbers. The report is read together in a 1-hour presentation meeting; your questions are answered, and the recording is sent to you on request.

The preliminary crawl is a 30-minute check from outside: the 5 most critical findings and an estimated workload. The full audit is a 5 to 7 day study with Search Console access that also covers content, authority and competitor comparison. The preliminary crawl tells you whether the full audit is needed; if it is not, we say so plainly.

Read access to Search Console and the analytics account is enough; the site is crawled from outside and the admin panel is never entered. Access is granted by adding a user from your own account and is removed when the audit ends. Without access the audit uses only externally visible data; that limitation is stated plainly in the report and in the quote.

Yes; the report is yours and written to be actionable, with what to do and how to verify it for every finding. Your own team or another agency can implement it at no extra charge. On request we run a verification crawl after implementation and give you the result as a before/after table.

The action list is ordered by priority: the highest-effect, lowest-cost jobs first. The typical order is technical blockers, then page edits, then content and authority, but the order depends on your site and is written in the report with reasons. You decide who does which job.

On sites that change often, one full audit a year with short 3-month checks in between is enough. An unscheduled audit is needed when the site is redesigned, migrated, or traffic drops unexpectedly. Short checks are already part of the monthly SEO plan, so you never need to buy an audit separately.
